Recipe - Cheese Pimiento Biscuits

3 cup Flour; sifted
5 teaspoon Baking powder
1 One half teaspoon Salt
One half teaspoon Cayenne pepper
One half cup Shortening
1 cup Cheddar cheese; grated
One fourth cup Pimiento; finely chopped
1 cup Milk; (up to 11/2)
Heat oven to 450 degrees. Sift together dry ingredients in large bowl. Cut
in shortening. Stir in cheese and pimiento. Add milk gradually to make
dough. Roll out to 1/2inch thickness. Cut with biscuit cutter and place on
greased cookie sheet. Bake 15 minutes. SOURCE: Dining by Fireflies
