Recipe - Cheese Pennies

1 cup Flour
One half teaspoon Salt
One half teaspoon Sweet paprika
1 pn Cayenne powder
6 tablespoon Butter; cut into small
pieces
Three fourths cup Grated Cheddar cheese
2 tablespoon Parmesan cheese
One fourth cup Beer or water
Three fourths cup Poppy or caraway seeds
Combine flour, salt, paprika, cayenne, and cheese. Add butter. Mix well.
Add beer and blend until it reaches an oatmeal consistency. Roll onto a
pan and shape into a roll 1" in diameter. Wrap and freeze for 1 hour. Slice
into rounds 1/8" thick, sprinkle with seeds and press with fork lightly.
Bake at 450 degrees for 12 minutes. Makes 3 dozen.
