Recipe - Char Siu Sauce

One fourth cup Reduced sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoon Honey
2 tablespoon Sugar
2 tablespoon Dry sherry
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Chinese fivespice powder
3 Quartersize slices fresh
ginger, crushed
Extracted from a Char Siu Ding (Pork) recipe. Should be tested.
In a pan, combine soy, honey, sugar, sherry, salt, fivespice and ginger.
Heat for one minute to dissolve sugar.
