Recipe - Cereal-Peanut Bars

One half cup Light corn syrup
One fourth cup Brown sugar
1 ds Salt
1 cup Peanut butter
1 teaspoon Vanilla
3 cup Crisp rice cereal
1 pack (6oz) semisweet chocolate

Combine One half cup light corn syrup, One fourth cup brown sugar, and dash salt in
saucepan. Bring to full boil. Stir in 1 cup peanut butter. Remove from
heat. Stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla, 3 cups crisp rice cereal, and one
6ounce package (1 cup) semisweet chocolate pieces. Press into buttered
9x9x2inch pan. Chill 1 hour. Cut in bars; store in refrigerator. Makes 2
dozen bars.
