Recipe - Celenas Chewy Spice Cookies

1 cup Packed brown sugar
Three fourths cup Unsweetened applesauce
One fourth cup Molasses
1 Egg
1 One fourth cup Flour
2 teaspoon Baking soda
1 teaspoon Ginger
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
One half teaspoon Ground cloves

In bowl, combine brown sugar, apple sauce, molasses, & egg til well
blended. In seperate blowl, combine flour, baking soda & spices. Stir in
molasses mixture. Drop by tspfulls 2" apart onto lightly greased cookie
sheet. Sprinkle with sugar & bake at 375 degrees for 8 10 mns. Posted to
