Recipe - Cathes Burgundy-Mushroom Gravy

One half pound Beef
Salt
Pepper
4 tablespoon Cornstarch, divided
1 tablespoon Soy sauce
1 tablespoon Brandy
1 Garlic clove, pressed
One half cup Onion, chopped
One fourth pound Snow peas
1 cup Chicken broth, heated
One fourth cup Water
Cut beef into chunks, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Roll in 2 T
cornstarch. Add beef to soy sauce and brandy; mix well.
Saute garlic; remove. Cook meat (do not add extra batter); remove.
Stir fry onion till limp, add snow peas and heated broth. Cover and steam
15 to 20 seconds, until veggies are crisptender. Return meat and thicken
with 2 T cornstarch, dissolved in One fourth cup cold water.
