Recipe - Caramel Layer Chocolate Square

1 pack (14 oz.) caramel candy
2/3 cup Evaporated milk
1 pack German chocolate cake mix or
just chocolate cake mix
Three fourths cup Melted margarine
1 cup Chopped nuts
1 pack (6 oz.) semisweet
Chocolate pieces
Step 1: Combine caramels and 1/3 cup milk in a double boiler. Cook over hot
water until melted. Step 2: Combine cake mix, butter, remaining 1/3 cup of
milk and nuts in a large mixing bowl. Mix well. Step 3: Press half the
mixture into a well greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2inch baking pan. Reserve
remaining dough for topping. Step 4: Bake for 6 minutes at 350 degrees.
Remove from oven. Sprinkle with chocolate pieces. Spread caramel mixture
evenly over chocolate pieces. Crumble remaining dough over caramel mixture.
Return to oven and bake for 15 to 18 minutes at 350 degrees.
