Recipe - Caramel Layer Chocolate Brownies

2 1/3 cup Evaporated milk
Three fourths cup Melted margarine
1 cup Milk chocolate pieces
1 pack German chocolate cake mix
1 cup Chopped nuts
50 Light; (14 oz.) caramels
(this is a recipe i found, but i make caramel brownies by mixing up my
brownie mix as usual and then pouring half the mix in the pan. then place
slices of the caramel apple wraps that are sold at halloween across it and
cover with remaining mix.)
Melt caramels and 1/3 cup of milk and set aside. Grease and flour 13 x 9 x
2inch pan. In large mixing bowl, combine dry cake mix, margarine, 1/3 cup
milk and nuts. Press One half mixture into pan. Reserve rest for top. Bake at
350 degrees for 6 minutes. Sprinkle chocolate pieces over baked portion.
Spread caramel mixture over chocolate pieces. Spoon reserved dough over
caramel mixture. Return to oven and bake 15 minutes. Cool slightly.
Refrigerate about 30 minutes and cut into squares.
