Recipe - Caramel Corn Pops

1/3 cup Margarine
One half cup Each brown sugar and
cornsyrup
3 tablespoon Light molasses
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 teaspoon Butter flavoring
8 cup Kelloggs Corn Pops cereal
Vegetable cooking spray
Place 28 x 18 inch piece of foil on heat proof surface. Coat with cooking
spray and set aside. In a heavy 12inch frypan, over medium heat, cook
margarine, brown sugar, cornsyrup, and molasses, stirring constantly, until
mixture starts to boil over its entire surface. Cook and stir about 6
minutes longer. Carefully stir in flavorings into hot mixture. Remove from
heat and stir in cereal carefully stir yet quickly(!!) to completely coat
cereal. Spread the mixture thinly onto prepared foil. Seperate cereal as it
cools. Store in airtight container.
Noteafter adding cereal...WORK FAST!! Spraying any utensils with cooking
spray is VERY helpful. Maybe even wear kitchen gloves sprayed lightly with
cooking spray!!! We want to keep any negative verbage down to a minimum,
now!
