Recipe - Caramel Ball Ring

1 Recipe basic sweet dough;

One half cup Firmly packed brown sugar
One fourth cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
One half cup Finely chopped nuts
1/3 cup Butter; melted
Combine sugars, cinnamon and nuts. Shape dough into 1inch balls. Dip each
into butter, then roll in sugarnut mixture. Place in greased 10inch tube
pan. Sprinkle with remaining butter and sugar mixture. Cover. Let rise in
warm place until doubled, about 1One half hours. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 to
40 minutes, until golden brown. Cool 10 to 15 minutes, then invert onto
wire rack over waxed paper. Remove from pan. YIELD: 1 RING
TIP: Line pan with foil if it has removable bottom.
Notes: This cookbook was acquired at a junk sale. It captured my interest
because of the annotated comments beside the recipes. The original owner
had made comments or just check marks beside certain recipes. I will
include these as I scan. This one had no markings.
