3 One half cup Sifted flour
2 teaspoon Baking soda
1 One half teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 teaspoon Nutmeg
3 cup Sugar
1 cup Pecans
4 Eggs
1 One half cup Canned pumpkin
1 cup Butter
2/3 cup Water
TOPPING
2 tablespoon Melted butter
2 tablespoon Sugar
One half teaspoon Cinammon
Sift dry ingredients into large mixerbowl. Quickly add all remaining
ingredients. Mix only until dry ingredients are moist. Bake in 2 greased
9x5x3inch pans in preheated 350degree F. oven for 1 hour. Cool 5 minutes.
Remove from pans and cool on wire rack. While warm brush with butter and
sprinkle with cinnamonsugar. Yield: Two loaves
