Recipe - Cabbage Stew

1 Head cabbaage, coarsely
chopped
3 Or 4 large carrots, cut or sliced up
2 Or 3 potatoes, cubed
one onion, chopped
2 Or 5 cloves garlic
One half cup White wine and One half cup
water, or all water or all
veggie broth
One half teaspoon Each thyme, sage, white
pepper or lemon pepper
salt to taste
Put all in large dutch oven, cover and bring to a boil, lower heat and
simmer for about 30 minutes, till all is tender. Optional, add mushrooms,
zuchinni or whatever you like.
