Recipe - Busy Day Cake

1 One half cup All Purpose Flour
Three fourths cup Granulated sugar
2 teaspoon Baking powder
Three fourths cup Milk
1/3 cup Shortening; Crisco oil
1 Egg; large
1 One half teaspoon Vanilla extract (may add
other extract as well)
One fourth teaspoon Salt

The perfect cake! You mix everything in one bowl, throw it in a pan and
bake for 30 minutes. It doesn't need icing unless you have it handy.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease and lightly flour a 9x9x2 inch baking
pan. In a small bowl, combine all ingredients. Beat with an electric mixer
till combined. Beat 2 minutes on medium speed. Turn into pan. Bake 25 to 30
minutes or till done. Cool. Ice if desired. Freezes well.
