Recipe - Burgers With Red Onions

1 Egg
One half cup Fresh bread crumbs
1 tablespoon Tomato paste
One half teaspoon Dried mint
One half teaspoon Salt
One fourth teaspoon Pepper
1 pound Lean ground beef
One fourth cup Chopped fresh parsley
SWEETANDSOUR ONIONS:
One half teaspoon Vegetable oil
1 cup Sliced red onion
1 tablespoon Liquid honey
2 tablespoon Red wine vinegar
One fourth teaspoon Each salt and pepper
In bowl, whisk egg with One fourth cups water, bread crumbs, tomato paste,mint,
salt and pepper; mix in beef and parsley. Form into four Three fourths inch thick
patties.
Place on greased baking sheet; broil for 5 minutes per side or until no
longer pink inside.
SweetandSour Onions: Meanwhile, in nonstick skillet, heat oil over
mediumhigh heat; cook onion, stirring, for 2 minutes or until beginning to
soften.
Add honey, tossing to coat; cook for 1 minute. Stir in vinegar; cook for 1
minute or until onions are glossy. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with
