Recipe - Burgandy Steak Sandwiches

2 teaspoon Margarine or butter
1 small Onion; cut or sliced up
1 Jar (2.5 oz) cut or sliced up
mushrooms, drained
2 Frozen; thinly cut or sliced up beef
sandwich steaks
One half cup Purchased beef or brown
gravy
2 tablespoon Burgandy or dry red wine
2 Diagonal slices sourdough
French Bread, Three fourths inch
thick
Melt margarine in large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and mushrooms;
cook and stir 23 minutes or until onion is crisptender. Remove from
skillet; set aside.
In same skillet, cook sandwich steaks as directed on package. Add onion
mixture, gravy and wine; cook over medium heat until thoroughly heated.
To serve, place 1 slice of bread on each of 2 individual serving plates.
Top bread with steak and sauce mixture.
