Recipe - Budget Burger Stew

1 One half pound Lean ground beef
2 md Onions; coarsely chopped
1 cn Whole Tomatoes; Including
Liquid
1 cn Tomato sauce; (8 Oz)
One half teaspoon Salt
One fourth teaspoon Pepper
One half teaspoon Chili powder
1 tablespoon Snipped parsley
One half teaspoon Italian Seasoning
2 md Potatoes; Peeled, Diced Into
1" Cubes
2 md Carrots; Peeled & Sliced,
One fourth Inch Thick
Place ground beef in a 3 quart casserole. Microwave at high (100%) 6 to 8
minutes, stirring to break up beef after half the cooking time. Add onions,
tomatoes, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, chili powder, parsley and Italian
Seasoning, potatoes and carrots. Cover. Microwave at medium high (70%)
until potatoes and carrots are tender, 30 minutes, stirring after half the
cooking time. Makes 6 servings.
