Having someone cook for you is intrinsically romantic. Some research
suggests that cooking for someone you love can increase endorphin levels,
which leads to that light, blissfilled feeling often called love. Either
way, romance and appetite have combined to produce interesting concoctions
throughout history.

Make a little history tonight and prepare this recipe for some you love,
from The cook & Kitchen Staff at RecipeaDay.com as Romantic Recipes
continue.

Shell and devein or clean shrimp, then rinse. Combine oil, salt, pepper,
parsley and tarragon in a small bowl. Dip shrimp in the mixture to coat
well. Lay shrimp on a shallow metal baking dish.

Preheat broiler. Slip shrimp under a hot broiler to cook for approximately
3minutes on each side, or until the transparent nature is replaced by
opulent white meat. Place shrimp on a warmed serving platter.

Heat butter and lemon juice in a small saucepan while shrimp are broiling.
Add the oil mixture leftover from dipping the shrimp to the lemon butter
sauce. Heat well and pour over shrimp. Serve with rice and garnish with
lemon wedges and, or fresh parsley.
