Recipe - Broccoli Spears With Saucy Hummus

Saucy Hummus;, (below)
1 One half pound Broccoli spears
SAUCY HUMMUS
1 cup Canned garbanzo beans
One half cup Yoplait® Original plain
yogurt
1 tablespoon Packed fresh cilantro or
parsley
1 tablespoon Lime juice
One fourth teaspoon Salt
1. Prepare Saucy Hummus.
2. Heat 1 inch water (salted if desired) to boiling in 3quart saucepan.
Add broccoli.
3. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer 10 to 12 minutes or until stems are
tender. Serve sauce over broccoli.
Saucy Hummus: Place all ingredients in food processor or blender. Cover and
process or blend on high until smooth.
1 Serving: 120 calories (20 calories from fat); 2 g fat (0 g saturated); 0
mg cholesterol; 320 mg sodium; 23 g carbohydrate (7 g dietary fiber); 10 g
protein.

NOTES : Don't tell! This sauce also doubles as a great appetizer dip. Serve
it with whole wheat and regular pitas that have been cut into wedges.
