Recipe - Breakfast Bars

One half cup Butter
1 One fourth cup Brown sugar
2 Eggs
1/3 cup Molasses
1 Three fourths cup Flour
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
2 cup Oatmeal
One half cup Chopped walnuts
1 cup Raisins, dried cherries or
cranberries
1 cup Chocolate chunks or pieces
Combine butter, sugar, eggs and molasses in bowl. Stir together flour,
soda, salt, and cinnamon then add to first mixture. Mix well. Stir in
oatmeal, walnuts, dried fruit, and chocolate pieces. Spoon into greased
9x13 inch pan and bake in a 400F oven for 12 15 minutes. Makes 2 3
dozen.
