Recipe - Bread Pudding With Lemon Hard Sauce

2 cup Milk
One half cup Sugar
One half cup Raisins
2 Eggs; beaten
One fourth cup Butter or margarine
One fourth teaspoon Salt
4 cup Bread crumbs
One half teaspoon Nutmeg
Combine the butter or margarine, sugar, salt, and raisins with the milk.
Heat to a boil. Pour over bread crumbs. Allow to set for 5 minutes. Add the
eggs, nutmeg and mix well. Place into a buttered casserole. Bake at 350 for
5055 minutes. Serve with a Lemon Sauce or a Hard Sauce. Hard Sauce: Cream
One half cup butter or margarine with 1 One half cups sugar. Add 1 tsp. vanilla
extract and beat until fluffy.
