Recipe - Bran Corn-Meal Sticks

2 tablespoon Shortening
2 tablespoon Sugar
1 Egg
1 cup Milk
One half cup Cornmeal
Three fourths cup Prepared bran
1 cup Flour
1 teaspoon Salt
3 teaspoon Baking powder
Cream shortening. Add sugar and mix well. Add wellbeaten egg, milk,
bran, and cornmeal. Sift flour, measure, and sift with baking powder and
salt. Add to first mixture, stirring only until well blended. Pour into
welloiled pans. Bake in moderate oven (400x F) 20 minutes. 12 bran
