Recipe - Braised Asparagus

3 tablespoon Unsalted butter
2 pound Medium asparagus spears;
tough ends removed
Fine sea salt; to taste
Freshly ground pepper; to
taste
Coarse see salt; to taste
In a large skillet, melt butter over Medium heat. Add asparagus and shake
the skillet unitl they fall into a single layer on th bottom of the pan.
Raise the heat slightly and cook until the butter starts to sizzle, 12
minutes. Season with fine sea salt and pepper. Reduce heat to Low. With a
spatula, rotate the asparagus as they cook, turning them so they brown
slightly on all sides. Cook for an additional 1012 minutes, or until
tender. Taste for seasoning. With a slotted spoon, gently transfer the
asparagus to a platter. Sprinkle with a small amount of coarse sea salt.
Serve immediately
Serves 6.
