One fourth cup Vegetable oil
Three fourths cup Chopped onion
Three fourths cup Ketchup
1/3 cup Lemon juice or vinegar
3 tablespoon Sugar
3 tablespoon Worchestershire sauce
3 tablespoon Mustard
One half teaspoon Salt
One half teaspoon Pepper
Rinse chickens with cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Heat
grill or broiler. In small saucepan, heat oil on medium heat. Add
onions. Cook about 5 minutes or until soft. Add ketchup, lemon juice,
sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt and pepper. Simmer 20
minutes. Place chicken on grill on medium heat or about 8 inches from
broiler. Baste with sauce after about 20 minutes. Turn chicken. Baste
again after 15 minutes. Cook 5 minutes longer or until chicken is
done, turning and basting as needed. Cooking times can vary greatly
depending on size of chicken pieces and intensity of heat. Serve with
