Recipe - Bombay Rice Pilaf

Ingredients:

2 One half cup Water
2 pack Instant chickenflavored
broth mix
1 tablespoon Lemon juice; fresh, not
bottled
1 tablespoon Margarine
1 small Bay leaf
One fourth cup Plus
2 tablespoon Golden raisins (Sultanas)
6 ounce Uncooked brown rice

Combine all ingredients EXCEPT RICE in a 3 quart saucepan. Bring to a boil
over medhigh heat. Stir in rice; reduce heat to low, cover & simmer until
all liquid is absorbed, 5060 minutes. (Check after 4550 minutes; add
boiling water if rice seems too dry). Remove & discard bay leaf before
serving.

NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION per serving: 152 Calories; 30g Carbohydrate; 398mg
Sodium 3g Fat; 3g Protein; 0mg Cholesterol. Exchanges: 1 Bread/Starch,
