Recipe - Blue Ribbon Apple Bread

3 cup Butter Or Margarine
1 One fourth cup Sugar
4 Eggs
1 One half cup Canned Apple Sauce
One fourth cup Milk
4 cup Flour; sifted
2 teaspoon Baking Powder
2 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 teaspoon Salt
1 tablespoon Grated Lemon Rind; 1" thick
1 cup Chopped Nuts Pecan
One half cup Chopped Raisins
One half cup Chopped Dates
Cream together butter and sugar. Beat in eggs one at a tme. Stir in apple
sauce and milk. Sift together dry ingredients. Add to apple sauce mixture
and mix well. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into 2 greased 9 x 5 x
3inch loaf pans. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour or until bread tests
done. Cool on rack for 10 minutes. Remove bread from pan and cool.
