Recipe - Blackberry Soup

4 cup Blackberries
4 Apples (pared, cored &
Sliced)
4 cup Apple juice
3 tablespoon Sugar
One fourth teaspoon Cinnamon
1 tablespoon Cornstarch
3 tablespoon Water
Pick over berries discard stems & bruised berries. Place berries &
apples in pot. Pour in apple juice. Simmer 20 minutes. Mash. Strain
through sieve. Add sugar & cinnamon. Mix cornstarch in water. Add to
soup. Bring to boil. Remove & serve hot or chilled. If chilled, top
with whipping cream.
