BROWNIE BASE
1 pack (12oz) Nestle Toll House
little bits semisweet
chpcolate; divided
One half cup Sugar
One fourth cup Butter; softened
2 Eggs
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
One half teaspoon Salt
2/3 cup Allpurpose flour
CHEESECAKE TOPPING
1 pack (8oz) cream cheese;
softened
One half cup Sugar
2 tablespoon Butter; softened
2 Eggs
2 tablespoon Milk
1 tablespoon Allpurpose flour
One half teaspoon Almond extract
Three fourths cup Nestle Toll House Little
Bits semisweet chocolate;
reserved from 12ounce
package
Brownie Base: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt over hot (not boiling)
water, 1One fourth cups Nestle Toll House Little Bits semisweet chocolate; stir
until smooth. Set aside. In large bowl, combine sugar and butter; beat
until creamy. Add eggs, vanilla extract and salt; mix well. Add melted
chocolate and flour; mix well. Spread into foillined 9inch square baking
pan.
Cheesecake Topping: In large bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar and butter;
beat until creamy. Add eggs, milk, flour and almond extract; beat well.
Stir in remaining Three fourths cup Nestle Toll House Little Bits semisweet
chocolate. Pour over Brownie Base. Bake at 350 degrees for 4045 minutes.
Cool completely on wire rack; cut into 2One fourth inch squares. Makes sixteen
2One fourth inch brownies.
