Recipe - Black Eyed Peas The New Way (Hl)

2 cup Black eyed peas
6 cup Water
2 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon Black pepper
One half teaspoon Yellow onion
1 Red pepper
Salt; to taste
1 teaspoon Garlic powder
Bring peas to a very low boil. Add all ingredients and cook for 1 hour.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Yield: 6 servings
