BISCUITS
2 cup Allpurpose flour
3 teaspoon Baking
One half teaspoon Baking soda
4 tablespoon Vegetable shortening
Three fourths cup Buttermilk; up to 1
One half teaspoon Salt
SAUSAGE
9 pound Fresh lean pork
1 One half tablespoon Black pepper
1 One half tablespoon Sage; crushed
3 tablespoon Salt
SAW MILL GRAVY
1 tablespoon Flour; for every 2 patties
1 cup Milk for every tbsp. of
flour
Kosher salt and pepper to
taste.
Bake biscuits at 425 F for about 12 minutes.
Shape sausage into patties an fry.
Leave sausage crumbs and fat in bottom of pan add gravy ingredients
to make gravy.
