Recipe - Birdseed Muffins

1 cup Flour
1 cup Wholemeal flour
One fourth cup Sesame seeds
1 tablespoon Poppy seeds
One fourth cup Sunflower seeds
One half cup Pumpkin seeds
2 One half teaspoon Baking powder
One fourth cup Butter
One fourth cup Honey
1 tablespoon Golden syrup
One half teaspoon Cloves
2 Beaten eggs
1 cup Lowfat milk
Preheat oven to 350øF, prepare pans. Melt the butter with the honey, golden
syrup & cloves until the mixture dissolves; set aside to cool. Mix the
flours, seeds & baking powder together. Add the dry mix to the wet mix
until just combined. Spoon into pans & bake for 20 mins. Sprinkle tops with
sesame or poppy seeds if desired. This is a superhealthy muffin. Makes 12.
Nutritional Value: Energy 140 calories per muffin.
