Recipe - Birds Nests

Categories: Soup, Birds Nests
Ingredients:

5 ounce Chow mein noodles
1 cup Peanuts; finely chopped
12 ounce Butterscotch chips
60 Jellybeans

We usually do these around Easter break so he can take them to school for
treats. You can substitute other candies for the jellybeans.

Melt chips. Add noodles & chopped peanuts & stir until thoroughly coated.
Drop onto wax paper into 15 globs. Form into a nest. Push 4 5 jelly beans
slightly into nest.

Chill candy until hardened.

At Easter time, use a marshmallow peep in the nest instead of the jelly
beans.

If not making nests, drop candy by smaller spoonfuls. Makes about
30 candies.

NOTES : Chocolate chips can be substituted.
