2 cup Coarsely chopped pitted Bing
cherries
2 cup Fresh raspberries or frozen
unsweetened; thawed
One fourth cup Sugar
2 Cinnamon sticks; broken in
half
4 teaspoon Brandy
Combine cherries, 1 cup raspberries, sugar and cinnamon in saucepan
over mediumhigh heat. Bring to boil, stirring until sugar dissolves.
Reduce heat; simmer until cherries soften, about 15 minutes. Remove
from heat.
Stir brandy and 1 cup raspberries into sauce. Discard cinnamon sticks.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
Makes 2 One half cups.
