1 One half Sticks butter or margarine
softened
One half cup Sugar
1 Egg
2 cup Flour
1 One half teaspoon Baking powder
1 teaspoon Vanilla
2 Sticks butter
1 cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 tablespoon Honey
8 ounce Blanched almonds; finely
chopped
For crust: Combine 1 One half sticks butter, One half cup sugar, egg, flour, baking
powder and 1 teaspoon vanilla; spread onto a greased jelly roll pan.
For topping: Melt 2 sticks butter with 1 cup sugar. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla,
honey and almonds. Mix well. Bring to a boil, stir, let cool and spread
evenly over crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or golden brown.
