Recipe - Bettys Rolls

2 cup Scalded milk
One half cup Butter
3 lg Eggs
Remove scalded milk from stove. Add butter. Whip eggs with a fork,
add to mixture.
In a large mixing bowl mix/combine: 2 pkg. dry yeast One half c. warm
water 1 t. salt
Add: One half c. sugar
Then add: 6 cups flour
Dump on a large bread board and knead in additional flour until it is
elastic and smooth. Rub a little butter in mixing bowl and place
dough in bowl. Turn dough over. Cover with a clean dish cloth and let
rise until doubled.
In a One fourth sheet cake pan (or equivalent) melt 1 stick butter. Pinch off
dough in golf ball size amounts (makes large rolls). Knead gently 510
times and place in rows on pan about One half inch apart. Let rise until
doubled (about 3045 minutes) Bake aboaut 10 minutes until golden
brown at 450 degrees. Sometimes I need to use an additional 8 x 8 pan
for the extras!
