Recipe - Beer Batter Softshell Crabs

12 Crabs, soft
12 ounce Beer; warm
1 One fourth cup Flour
2 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Paprika
One half teaspoon Baking powder
Pour beer in mixing bowl, add flour then remainder of ingredients. Mix
well. Prepare batter at least 1One half hours before use as it will thicken
standing. Dust crabs lightly in flour; dip singly in batter. Deepfry at
360 degrees for 25 minutes depending on size. Crabs should be golden
brown. Drain and serve.
