Recipe - Beef Short Ribs Pacific Style

3 pound Beef ribs*; (3 to 4)
(cut into 3inch lengths
1 Onion; chopped
1 tablespoon Butter
2/3 cup Catsup
3 tablespoon Soy sauce
2 tablespoon Cider vinegar
2 tablespoon Brown sugar
Place short ribs on a broiler pan. Broil until wellbrowned to remove
excess fat. Transfer to crockery pot . Saute onion in butter until limp
and golden. Pour in catsup; soy sauce, vinegar and brown sugar. Heat until
blended. Pour over ribs. Cover. Cook on LOW 8 hours. Makes 4 servings.
