Recipe - Beef Birds In Wine Sauce

1 One half pound Top round or sirloin steak
(cut very thin One fourth inch
slices or pieces)
1 lg Onion; cut or sliced up thin
2 Cloves garlic; chopped fine
2 teaspoon Chopped parsley
3 tablespoon Romano cheese
4 ounce Proscuitto ham
One half cup (up to)
1 cup Red wine
1 pn Rosemary
Cut steak into 3 to 4inch squares. Mix together garlic, parsley, cheese &
proscuitto. Place 1 teaspoon of mixture in center of meat, place onion
slice on top. Roll carefully, tie with string or fasten with toothpicks.
Brown in oil 810 minutes. Make gravy with drippings. Add One half to 1 cup
burgundy (red) wine & a pinch of rosemary. Simmer 30 minutes.
