Recipe - Beef-Cabbage Rollsclay Cooker

Three fourths pound Lean ground beef
1/8 pound Salt pork; ground
1 cup Rice; cooked
1 Egg; beaten
One half teaspoon Salt; pepper
10 Large cabbage leaves
One fourth cup Consomme
2 tablespoon Melted butter
Soak lid of glazed clay cooker. In a bowl mix well all ingredients. Put
into clay cooker. Cover and place in cold oven. Turn temperature to 425F
and bake for 80 minutes. From Schlemmertopf Recipe book.
