2 tablespoon Peanut oil
1 cup Finely chopped red onion
1 teaspoon Curry powder
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cup Basmati rice
One fourth cup Apple juice
2 cup Water
1 cup Fresh or frozen green peas
2 tablespoon Toasted pine nuts
1. Heat oil in a large skillet over mediumhigh heat. Add onion, and
sprinkle with curry powder, salt, and pepper. Cook 3 minutes, stirring
occasionally. 2. Add rice, stirring to coat. Cook for 1 minute,
stirring occasionally. Stir in apple juice, mixing well to combine.
Stir in water. Cover and lower heat to mediumlow. Simmer, tightly
covered, for about 40 minutes, until rice is tender and water is
absorbed. 3. If using fresh peas, stir them into the rice halfway
through the final cooking time. If using frozen, add MC_Busted by
