Recipe - Basic Bannockscone Mixture

4 cup All purpose flour
2 tablespoon Baking powder
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Sugar
2 tablespoon Butter; cut in 6 pieces
In a food processor with steel blade,combine flour,baking powder,salt and
sugar for 3 to 4 seconds.Add butter and process to consistency of fine
breadcrumbs.Alternately,cut butter into dry ingredients with pastry blender
or rub in with fingers.Store in airtight container in cool,dry place.Makes
5 One half to 6 cups mixture.Scone recipe under separate post.
