Recipe - Barbecued Meatballs

3 pound Extra lean ground beef
12 ounce Evaporated milk
1 cup Oatmeal
1 cup Cracker crumbs
2 lg Eggs
One half cup Chopped onion
One half teaspoon Garlic powder
2 teaspoon Salt
One half teaspoon Pepper
2 teaspoon Chili powder
SAUCE
2 cup Ketchup
1 cup Packed brown sugar
One half teaspoon Liquid smoke flavoring
One half teaspoon Garlic powder
One fourth cup Chopped onion
Combine all the meatball ingredients (mixture will be soft). Shape into 80
meatballs (walnut size). Place meatballs in a single layer on wax
paperlined cookie sheets. Freeze until solid. Wrap & store in freezer
until ready to use.
Sauce: Combine all sauce ingredients & stir until sugar is dissolved.
To prepare meatballs & sauce: Place frozen meatballs in a single layer in 2
~ 13 x 9 baking pans. Pour on the sauce. Bake at 350F for 1 hour.
