Recipe - Bara Brith

1 pound Plain flour.
A pinch of salt
4 ounce Granulated sugar
4 ounce Currants
4 ounce Sultanas
4 ounce Large raisins; stoned
4 ounce Lard
A little chopped candied
peel
One half ounce Baker's yeast
1 Egg
Preheat the oven to 160 Centigrade (moderate oven). Mix all the dry
ingredients and then mix in the egg. Put the mix into a greased baking tin
and bake for about an hour, until golden brown on top.
