Recipe - Baptist Pound Cake

3 cup Sugar
1 Stick margarine
One half cup Crisco
5 Eggs, rm temp
Pinch of salt
1 cup Milk
3 cup Plain flour
1 teaspoon Canilla
One half teaspoon Baking powder
1 tablespoon Butternut flavoring
Cream together sugar, butter, and shortening; add eggs, one at a time. Mix
well after each. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt; add alternately with
milk and flour to first mixture. Add flavorings. Grease and flour pan.
Place in cold over. Turn heat to 350F, and bake One half hour. then turn heat to
325F and bake 40 minutes more. Let stand 5 minutes after taking from oven.
