Recipe - Banana Spice Bread

2 teaspoon Baking powder
One fourth teaspoon Baking soda
One half teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
One fourth teaspoon Cloves
One half cup Honey
2 Eggs; beaten well
1/3 cup Salad oil
1 cup Bananas; mashed
One half cup Nuts; chopped
1 Three fourths cup Flour; sifted
Sift dry ingredients together. Combine honey, eggs, salad oil and mashed
bananas. Add to dry ingredients and beat until smooth. Add nuts. Pour into
greased 9 x5 x3 inch loaf pan or two small greased 8One half x One half x 2One half inch
loaf pans. Bake in a 350 degree oven, 50 to 65 minutes in a large pan or
4550 minutes in small pans, or until toothpick inserted in center comes
out clean. Remove from pan and cool before slicing. Glaze loaf with thin
confectioners' sugar icing if you like, or serve plain.
