Recipe - Baked Vidalia Onion

Ingredients:

1 md Vidalia or other sweet onion
2 teaspoon Butter or margarine
One fourth teaspoon Salt; optional
Pepper; to taste
Garlic salt; to taste,
optional

Quarter onion halfway through and open slightly. Place onan 18x12" piece of
heavy duty foil. Place butter in center of onion; sprinkle with seasonings.
Fold foil to seal tightly. Bake at 350 F. for 6070 minutes or until onion
is tender. Open foil carefully to allow steam to escape. Per serving,
prepared with margarine and without garlic salt:
1 One half vegetable, 1 One half fat. 116 calories, 93 mg. sodium, 0
