Recipe - Baked Onions

1 cup Clarified butter
3 pound Onions; peeled and cut or sliced up

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. (moderate).
2. Stir butter into onions in a 9 X 13inch baking pan.
3. Bake for 1 One half hours, or until golden brown in color. Stir occasionally.
4. Cool. Refrigerate until needed. (May be stored in refrigerator for up to
2 weeks.) Makes 1 quart.
