Recipe - Baked Ham Slice In Sauterne

2 pound Center cut ham slice
One half cup Brown sugar; firmly packed
3 tablespoon Cornstarch
1 One half cup Water
1 tablespoon Margarine
One half cup Raisins
One half cup American sauterne; or other
dry white wine
Preheat oven to 350~. Place ham in a shallow baking pan. Set aside.
Combine sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan. Stir in water and margarine.
Place over medhigh heat and cook, stirring constantly, 5 mins. Remove pan
from heat and stir in raisins and wine. Pour the mixture over ham. Bake
uncovered 45 mins. or until tender.
