Recipe - Bacon Cheese Biscuits

2 cup Selfrising flour
One half cup Shortening
One half cup (about 2 ounces ) shredded
cheddar cheese
Three fourths cup Plus
2 tablespoon Milk
One fourth cup Chopped green onions
4 sl Bacon; cooked and crumbled
Christmas. Combine flour and shortening; cut in shortening with a pastry
blender until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add cheese, milk, onions, and
bacon, stirring until dry ingredients are moistened. Turn dough out onto a
lightly floured surface, and knead lightly 4 or 5 times.Roll dough to
1/2inch thickness; cut with a 2inch biscuit cutter. Place on an ungreased
baking sheet. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Yield: about 1
dozen.
