Recipe - Austrian Chocolate Balls

Ingredients:

2 ounce Unsweetened chocolate; (2
squares)
1/3 cup Butter
1 cup Sugar
1 Egg plus one yolk
One half teaspoon Vanilla
1 1/3 cup Flour
One half cup Nuts; finely chopped

CHOCOLATE GLAZE
1 ounce Unsweetened chocolate; (1
square)
1 tablespoon Butter
One fourth teaspoon Vanilla
2 tablespoon Milk; (more if needed)

Melt unsweetened chocolate squares together in a saucepan over low heat.
Remove from heat. Stir in sugar, eggs and vanilla. Gradually stir in flour
and nuts until well combined. Shape dough into Three fourths inch balls and place on
ungreased cookie sheet about 1 inch apart. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 12
minutes until firm to the touch (be carefull not to overbake). Immediately
remove from cookie sheet. Dip into glaze (recipe below).

CHOCOLATE GLAZE; In the same pan, melt chocolate and butter. Remove from
heat. Add remaining ingredients and blend well (add additional milk if
needed to thin to glaze consistency. Dip the tops of the cookies into the
glaze to cover. Makes 4 dozen.
