Recipe - Aunt Dorabells Chocolate Cake

2 cup Sugar
One half cup Butter
2 md Eggs (must use medium)
One half cup Buttermilk
1 teaspoon Soda
2 cup Flour
One fourth teaspoon Salt
3 tablespoon Cocoa (heaping)
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 cup Boiling water
Cream sugar, eggs and butter. Dissolve soda in milk, add to creamed
mixture. Blend well. Sift together flour, salt and cocoa; add to creamed
mixture. Beat well; add boiling water, vanilla and mix. Bake at 350 for 45
minutes in three greased and floured 8inch round pans. Frost as desired.
